Call for ADAM Membership Registration

The mission of the African Diaspora Association of the Maritimes (ADAM) is to provide services to its members, network with all levels of government and with other public and private organizations for the benefit of its members and the community at large.

Our efforts towards fulfilling this mission or mandate, has resulted in a highly productive 2012. We have maintained two main streams of operating funds from government agencies, successfully applied for further funds, provided employment for African immigrants, provided information and resources to the community, and organized several successful community events for youth as well as older community members. Going forward in 2013 and beyond, ADAM will constantly strive to grow and improve our capacity to provide much more support to Africans living in the Maritimes.

ADAM shall grow more quickly with increased support from members of the community. An important way by which individuals can help ADAM’s growth is by becoming active registered members.

By becoming a registered member of ADAM, you will benefit from the numerous services, programs, and opportunities that we provide. Your registration will help increase the stature of ADAM, which will help us acquire more support from funding agencies, and this in turn helps the organization provide even more support for people of African descent in the Maritimes. As a registered member, your opinions will help determine ADAM’s activities. You will help to shape the direction of ADAM’s growth and the nature and success of the services that we provide.

Membership dues for a year (April 1st to March 31st) are only $10.

Contact our office by email information@adamns.ca or by telephone 902-404-3670 to register today and help us to serve you better!

Yours sincerely,

Board of Directors
